I’ve been really in a bad place since last May, dealing with my arthritis. I’ve had so many flareups that I can’t even say exactly how many I’ve had. I’m starting to forget what it feels like to feel normal.
I’ve had goo oozing from my eyes, I can’t use my hands or feet that well in the morning. I take about 30 percoset a month for all this fucking pain. I’m not working any more because I’m not well enough to commit to daily employment. I spent Christmas in the hospital with pericarditis from the inflammation in my body. I’m not parenting my child as well as I want, because I can’t. My husband has been carrying me for a long, long time now on everything.

So things have sucked. I haven’t written in ages. But I’m trying to be optimistic and look on the bright side. Not sure how that goes.
